Katherine Broderick was born and raised in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. She attended Methacton High School where she developed an interest in both photography and biology prior to her graduation in 2013. She graduated with honors from Rochester Institute of Technology in May of 2017 with a degree in photographic sciences. While at RIT, she has developed proficiencies in German and completed a certification as an open water diver and underwater photographer. She has completed two internships during her time at RIT. One at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, where she worked on building an archive of mission film from the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions. She also worked at Columbia University Medical Center’s Department of Ophthalmology, where she performed diagnostic and documentation imaging on patients. She currently works in New York City as an ophthalmic photographer.
